Hello, my name is Scott. I live on planet Pacem and my house is located
on mountain Sanka. I am a 57 year
old dwarf who lives with his wife and 4 kids in a tiny little house on a
mountain. I like to eat sandwiches with my friends Marshall and barney. Marshall
is my neighbour since I can remember and also the biggest dwarf I know and
barney is an elf the same size as me but almost 3 times as light, who lives in
the forest around mountain Sanka. If you are interested what I look like, I'll
tell you. I am as you know a dwarf at the age of 57. I am exactly 5 feet tall
and I have a big brown beard against my entire belly. I am a very kind dwarf
and like to laugh about jokes. I am not a very funny person but they say
that I am a great story teller. So that's what I'm going to do, I'm going to
tell you a story about something really strange that happened one day.
It was 15 years ago, when I was 42 and before I met barney, I was
walking in the forest.
It was a habit of mine and I did it every week. it was
always very quiet in the forest, but this time it wasn't. I heard screaming
coming from east direction so I decided to go there and see what was going
on. After a walk of 30 minutes the scream stopped. I
thought that if I would wait a few minutes I may hear it again, so I did. I
waited 15 minutes sitting against a tree, listening very carefully but heard
nothing. another 5 minutes later I heard something, It was a inaudible sound
that kind of sounded like a voice
of someone.
I walked to the direction of where it came from. While I was
walking the voice became more clear and it sounded like someone was shouting
for help! I froze and for those few seconds I didn't know what to do, It felt
like an eternity before I realised that I had to do what the person asked for,
help him! I began running as fast
as I could, while I was running it felt like I could run forever if I wanted
to, but I didn't have to because
after a few minutes I saw something. It looked like as if it hang in a tree,
upside down. I stopped running and walked to it.
Barney
He was no longer screaming because he saw me coming towards him, he (I
already saw that it was a man) Said something to me what I didn't understand,
it sounded like elfish so I said the only 3 words elfish that I knew to him:" I Can't understand". He
stopped talking and said: "do you speak English?",I told him that I
did and he asked me to help him get free.
The man said his name was Barney and
that he was an elf who was a little clumsy. He told me that he was walking in
the forest and suddenly walked in a trap. He said that it wasn't a trap made by
elves and that he had never seen one before. I told him that I also had no idea
who's trap it was because dwarfs have
fingers to thick to make a trap like this one.
Barney and I walked and
talked with each other for a long time, when suddenly Barney said that he saw a
figure move through the trees. We
walked in the direction and Barney saw the figure and hide behind a big tree. There
is an open field on the other side of the tree so we sneak slowly to a ditch 20
feet in front of the tree and lay down. We see a person walking in the tall
grass and Barney suddenly sprints to the person. I decided not to shout after
him because the person may hear me and Barney might not be able catch him. My
smart thinking pays off when I hear Barney scream :"I got him! I got
him!". When I arrived at the place where Barney and the Person lay on the
ground, I see that Barney
tightened the hands of the person with a elfish made string.
Robin
We tried to talk to the person who turned out to be a beautiful girl at
the age of around 20. The girl was silently crying and didn't respond to our
questions. We tried to comfort her
a bit and that helped the girl from crying and made her talk. She told us that
she was scared because she had never seen "creatures" like us before. We looked indignantly
at each other, why would she call us creatures? She told us that her name was
Robin and that she lives in England on planet earth. We tried to figure out if
she was joking or if she was serious, it kind of crept me out thinking about
the idea that this girl was from another planet, and talking for a while it
turned out to be true.
Robin told us that she was walking in the woods on earth
and saw a cave. She was curious and went to take a look inside. She walked
deeper and deeper in to the cave and saw light coming out of the other side.
She walked to the light what turned out to be an exit, so she went out of the
cave. She stood outside in the forest looking around her but she didn't
recognize any trees or rocks that
she saw before. Robin told us that she went back trough the cave but didn't
find the exit she came from. She had no choice other than go back to the
unknown forest. We agreed that the unknown forest Robin was talking about the
forest was where we were right now.
Barney asked if Robin made the trap he got stuck in to and that was
positive. I asked how long she was in the forest and the answer was 4 days.
Robin said that she needed food so made a trap, the trap Barney got into.
We
decided to untie Robin's hands and give her something to eat.
The disaster
While we were walking to my home to get some rest and because it was
getting dark, I saw something in the sky. At first I thought that it was a
falling star but when I looked at it for a little longer I saw that it was a
comet coming right at us!! I freaked out and told Robin and Barney what was
going on. We ran to my home as fast as we could. When we arrived my wife was
angry and asked me what took me so long, but I had no time to argue. I told her
that we had roughly 12 hours to live until the comet would smash into our
planet and destroy everything by its brutal power. Packing our stuff was a
waste of time, We had no chance to survive. I took everyone outside and held
their hands. Here we are, standing next to each other holding hands. Neighbor
Marshall came outside to ask what was going on. I pointed to the comet and said
that the end was approaching. Marshall was in shock and almost fainted. We had to catch him with the three of us because Marshall is not only
big, but also very heavy. when he revived, he said that he loved me and that I
was the best friend he ever had. I almost started crying and told him and the 3
others that I loved them and that I would die for them if I had to.
We all, me,
my wife, Barney, Marshall and Robin looked up into the sky, we saw something so
incredible and indescribably beautiful that you would cry of happiness. It was
a bright flash followed by an angel flying with his beautiful wings towards us.
It began speaking with a voice like a flood of warmth that makes you happy
inside. The angel said:
"Scott, you are a man with a
heart of gold who's prepared to die for his loved ones. Robin, you came here on
planet Pacem trough a cave portal of the ancient elves, the passage was never
been shut from the other side, from planet Earth. Barney will help you open the
passage and get you safely home. Barney, you need to speak loud and clear and say: "OPEN THE GATE TO THE OTHER SIDE" in elfish. Now my time has come,
farewell."
The angel focuses on the comet, without saying anything the angel shoots
himself with a bright white flash to the comet and 3 seconds later we hear a
bang. we see a red flash followed by the most colourfull and beautiful firework
flower shaped explosion in the sky.
That day was the most beautiful day in my life, I lived happy with my
wife, Barney became one of my best friends. And Robin, Robin went back to her
own family. This story is that kind of story you can tell over and over again.
A story about a girl, a girl who saved my planet.
